Rothley Court Hotel Magic

At the end of February I was booked to perform at a dinner meeting, for the UK's leading pub company.

I had the pleasure of performing at one of their hotel's, The Rothley Court Hotel.

Enriched in history it begins with a mention in the Doomsday Book of 1086, although originally a Roman Villa existed on the site. The beautiful Manor House Hotel with fantastic stained glass windows, is set in around 10 acres of grounds. The buildings history is linked with the Knights Templar, and William Wilberforce's work to abolish slavery.

A great looking venue for weddings, with beautiful surroundings for the wedding photo's.

After having recently undergone a refurbishment, the bar area is now extended.

There are 3 different functions rooms. I was performing in the Templar Room.

The Knights Templar Chapel still stands today next to the Manor House.

The Hotel also houses a beautiful tapestry in the reception area, and two original stained glass windows, depicting knights, can be seen at the main staircase.

I received great feedback on the evening, and hopefully I'll be there again soon!
